Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd in Edinburgh is seeking experienced Software Engineers to contribute to the Radar software for the Typhoon programme. You will work in a small, integrated team, handling low-level software details, documentation, and progress reporting to project stakeholders.

The role involves hands-on coding in Ada, C++, and Python, collaboration with systems and test teams, and delivering robust software under strict configuration control in a mature project environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Ada, C++ or another relevant programming language (e.g., Java).
• Experience with the full Software Development Lifecycle.
• Willingness to work in a small multi-disciplinary Integrated Project Team.
• Working knowledge of source control/configuration tools like Git or Bitbucket.

Responsibilities

• Develop the full Software Lifecycle from design to delivery.
• Program in Ada, C++ and Python.
• Work onsite in Edinburgh for this role.
