Ebury is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to advance our multi-currency account systems and payment processes. You will own design, scalability, and performance of a high-volume transactional platform in a global team spanning Europe and the Americas.

Qualifications

• Design, build, and maintain complex software systems at scale.
• Strong focus on code quality, patterns, and testability.
• Experience in payments/fintech domain preferred.
• Proficiency with distributed architectures and async messaging.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts in English.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver next iteration of global platform for cross-border payments.
• Own services from design to deployment and production health.
• Lead product initiatives with Product and Operations teams.
• Mentor engineers and uphold high engineering standards.
• Collaborate with distributed teams to design modular services.
