Job summary

Ebury is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer for the Payments Experience team in London. You will architect high-scale web applications and platform tooling that empower our engineering org to ship features quickly and reliably.

You’ll own end-to-end delivery, shape architecture through RFCs, mentor junior engineers, and ensure code quality with tests and CI/CD. This is a hybrid role with collaboration across international teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building high-performance, client-facing web applications.
• Deep hands-on experience with Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Redis, and secure RESTful APIs.
• Mastery of TypeScript, React, Jest, and Storybook; experience with Micro-Frontends is a bonus.
• Comfort with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Strong grasp of system design, scalable integrations, and algorithms/patterns.
• Excellent spoken and written English, able to work across international teams.

Responsibilities

• Scale the Core: Architect and evolve platform channels with features and stability.
• Drive Architecture: Lead service and component design via RFCs.
• True Ownership: Own code, containers, CI/CD, and production monitoring.
• Elevate the Team: Mentor junior and mid-level engineers to improve code quality.
