LDMS, part of the LC Financial Holdings group, is seeking a Senior Engineer in Cardiff on a hybrid basis. You will tackle complex features, design solutions, write documentation and mentor junior engineers, delivering high‑quality software on the AWS, Java/Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, React/TypeScript stack.

You will own delivery of large features, refine requirements into concrete tasks, contribute to engineering standards, and help shape technical plans aligned with the business.

Qualifications

• Senior hands-on engineer with strong Java (preferably Java 25+) and Spring Boot experience.
• Experience designing and delivering complex features with clear design docs.

Responsibilities

• Design solutions to complex features and write design documentation for others to build from.
• Hold the technical quality bar through code reviews, pairing and mentoring.
• Lead delivery of large features and translate vague requirements into concrete engineering work.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards and documentation.
