Job summary

Reed Technology in Hertfordshire is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and ship features across .NET/C# backend and Angular frontend applications. You will write clean, tested code and lead feature delivery while handling Azure cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires strong security awareness and experience with AI/LLM integrations, with a hybrid work model (onsite 3 days a week) and a focus on reliability and scalable software platforms.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Computing Science or related field.
• Commercial experience with C#/.NET, EF, SQL Server and REST design.
• Proficiency in Angular with TypeScript and architecture knowledge.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps).
• Azure cloud deployments with monitoring via App Insights.
• Experience integrating AI coding assistants and LLM APIs.
• Security principles including OWASP Top 10, GDPR, ISO27001.
• Experience in small teams with full-stack ownership.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and ship features across backend and frontend apps.
• Maintain clean, tested, and scalable code with code reviews.
• Resolve production bugs and provide third-line support.
• Translate business requirements into reliable software.
• Manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure with high availability.
• Oversee deployments, security patches, backups, and networking.
• Configure CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
• Automate admin tasks to reduce manual effort and risk.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and platform adoption.
• Use IaC to provision Azure resources and ensure reproducibility.
