Job summary

Reed.ai is seeking a Senior Engineer (Agentic Developer) to join its Holborn, London team. The role centers on turning product intent into precise specifications, coordinating coding agents across the stack, and designing tests and review gates to ensure safe production deployments.

You will drive outcomes over lines of code, upholding security controls, and improving the agentic workflow. The position emphasizes collaboration with product and design, with a hybrid work setup in London.

Qualifications

• Substantial commercial engineering experience at senior or lead level.
• Hands-on delivery using AI coding agents with evidence of effective workflows.
• Strong code review and precise specification writing for agents.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, REST API and cloud-native fundamentals (AWS).
• Two or more of Go, Python and TypeScript expertise.
• Understanding of security, data protection and GDPR.

Responsibilities

• Translate product requirements into testable specifications and tasks.
• Supervise coding agents across the full stack.
• Maintain context packs, repository guidance and decision records.
• Define acceptance criteria and independent tests before generation.
• Review agent-generated code for correctness and security.
• Maintain automated quality gates in CI/CD.
