A leading e-commerce print company in Rotherham is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop innovative software solutions. The role involves hands-on development, leading key projects, and collaborating with various teams to enhance internal systems. Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of experience in software engineering, expertise in front-end and back-end development, and a passion for leveraging technology. Location: Rotherham, South Yorkshire (On-site / Hybrid options may be available)
Type: Full-time, Permanent, Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm with flexible working options.
Salary: £60,000-£90,000 , based on experience

This is a hands‑on development role where you’ll take ownership of key software projects and contribute to the design, implementation, and improvement of our applications. You’ll work closely with internal teams, from IT and production to design and operations, to ensure our systems are reliable, efficient, and fit for the future.

In 2021, we acquired a luxury book printer, Kingsbury Press, branching out into the publishing industry and have aims of expanding into packaging solutions. In 2022 we were chosen as the printer for the Queen’s Jubilee book.
Bluetree's combined office, production and training facilities are in Wath Upon Dearne, which is close to Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, and Doncaster. Our state‑of‑the‑art 165,000 square foot facility is just a 15‑minute drive from either the M1 or A1M and boasts ample free on‑site parking, the facility is also located on a major bus route which is just a few minutes away from the train stations of Mexborough, Swinton and Wombwell.
