The company I’m recruiting for is a household name- they’re a global enterprise with a strong local presence in Nottingham.

I am looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join them in a small team; you’ll be fully hands-on and you’ll be working with a core tech stack of TypeScript, Node, and AWS. Within AWS, you’ll use a variety of services in their serverless ecosystem, including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3.

You’ll go into the IVR team where they use cutting edge tech to deliver telephony solutions via the Amazon Connect platform.

There are 5 people in the team and their backgrounds are very contact centre focussed- you will be bringing in the backend node development and AWS Cloud Infrastructure knowledge to the team and maintaining high levels of good engineering practices; sharing what you know, getting your hands dirty, and learning what they know about contact centres and the Amazon Connect platform- from them and through formal training.

You’re the kind of person who loves to lead from the front; making sure that everything you produce follows best practice, well-tested, and user-centric.
