Job summary

Push Gaming Ltd. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and implementation of scalable platform solutions for its B2B iGaming ecosystem, including game servers and APIs. Hybrid in London or Warsaw, you will drive performance, reliability and secure coding practices.

You will mentor engineers, shape architecture, oversee code reviews, and collaborate with product, QA and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software on time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, with a strong background in backend development.
• Deep knowledge of one or more modern programming languages such as C#, Java, Go, Python or Node.js.
• Extensive experience building and consuming APIs, microservices and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in database design and management across SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and a good understanding of DevOps principles including CI/CD and containerisation.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Direct experience in iGaming, online gaming, or a high-transactional SaaS industry.
• Understanding of the regulatory environment and technical compliance requirements within iGaming.

Senior Software Engineer

We are looking to hire an experienced engineer to lead the design and implementation of complex platform solutions, optimising performance, ensuring scalability, and driving best practice for infrastructure and deployment across our B2B iGaming platform, game servers and APIs.

Location:

Hybrid in London or Warsaw.

What you’ll be doing:

• Build the backend. Design, develop and deploy high-quality, robust, scalable software for the B2B iGaming platform, game servers and APIs.

• Lead technically. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers within the team.

• Own performance. Proactively find and resolve bottlenecks so systems handle high transaction volumes and

  concurrent users at low latency.

• Meet jurisdictional standards. Ensure developed systems comply with the technical standards and regulations of iGaming jurisdictions.

• Resolve production issues. Troubleshoot and debug complex problems in production, with timely and effective fixes.

• Write code others can maintain. Produce clean, well-documented code using modern languages and frameworks.

• Shape the architecture. Lead code reviews and contribute to the architectural design of new features and systems.

• Build security in. Implement and adhere to best practice for software security and data protection.

• Work with the wider team. Partner with product managers, QA and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver against them, taking part in sprint planning and retrospectives.

What you’ll bring to the role:
