Job summary

Push Gaming Ltd. is seeking a Lead Platform Engineer to steer design, development and maintenance of the core platform that underpins our online casino games. You will lead a team, drive scalable cloud-native architectures and embed security and observability across the stack.

You’ll own the roadmap, advocate best practices, and deliver self-service tooling and CI/CD pipelines to accelerate feature delivery while ensuring regulatory compliance and high performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps/SRE/platform roles with leadership experience.
• Cloud architecture design experience across AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Hands-on with containers, IaC and modern cloud tooling.
• Strong programming background in Go, Python or Java.
• Familiarity with iGaming or high‑transactional regulated environments.

Lead Platform Engineer

We are looking to hire a Lead Platform Engineer to lead the design, development and maintenance of the underlying platform that supports the company's products and services, ensuring scalability, reliability and performance. The role manages the platform engineering team and drives the technical decisions behind it.

Location: hybrid in London or Warsaw.

What you’ll be doing:

• Design the platform architecture. Build a robust, scalable, fault-tolerant architecture using modern cloud-native technologies, microservices, containers and the rest.

• Lead the team. Lead, mentor and manage a team of platform engineers, fostering technical excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement aligned with business objectives.

• Automate the infrastructure. Manage and automate cloud provisioning with Terraform, Kubernetes and Docker, keeping environments consistent, reproducible and cost-effective.

• Build security in. Embed security best practice into the platform's design and processes.

• Own the technical roadmap. Define and own how the platform evolves to meet future business and regulatory needs.

• Raise developer productivity. Provide self-service tools, automated CI/CD pipelines and standardised workflows that minimise developers' cognitive load so they can focus on features.

• Own observability. Implement and maintain monitoring, logging and alerting so uptime and performance hold,

  and give development teams the data to troubleshoot fast.

• Meet regulatory standards. Work with compliance so the platform meets technical standards such as GLI and UKGC for data integrity, security and responsible gaming.

What you’ll bring to the role:

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE or platform engineering role, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior capacity.

• Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Extensive hands‑on experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).

• Strong software engineering background with proficiency in a modern programming language such as Go, Python or Java.

• Proven ability to design and build highly scalable, resilient and distributed systems.

• Solid understanding of information security principles and the technical requirements of iGaming regulators.

• Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose complex issues in a production environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Direct experience within B2B iGaming or another high‑transactional, regulated industry.
