Job summary

Lumine Group is seeking a Principal Software Developer to lead the technical direction for enterprise billing and payment platforms. You will shape architecture, ensure high-quality delivery, and mentor engineers in a hybrid-remote role.

You’ll work across Java/Kotlin ecosystems, Spring Boot and Cloud, and modern web tech, delivering scalable solutions with a strong focus on performance and reliability. Relocation considered.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java or Kotlin (JVM 11+).
• Experience with Spring Framework (Boot, Cloud, JDBC/R2DBC).
• Knowledge of ORM (Hibernate) and web tech (Spring MVC/JSF/Wicket).
• Build tools like Maven; CI/CD with GitHub Actions or similar.
• Frontend frameworks such as React or Angular (8+).
• Relational and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB).
• Message brokers (RabbitMQ).
• Microservices, Docker deployments, Kubernetes, Helm.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive technical strategy and architecture.
• Lead development across the full software lifecycle.
• Mentor engineers and share knowledge.
• Design, code, and debug enterprise-grade applications.
• Improve performance and maintainability of systems.
• Collaborate with customers and teams in an agile environment.
