Cambridgeshire County Council is seeking a Senior Social Worker to join the Prevention and Early Intervention Front Door Team in the Adult Early Help Service. This permanent post is full-time (37 hours per week) and offers leadership across a multidisciplinary team to promote strengths-based, proportionate and preventative practice.

Qualifikationen

• Must be a Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
• Post-qualifying experience in Social Care.
• Strong knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005.
• Experience of multi-disciplinary working to enable best outcomes for individuals.
• Excellent communication, planning, organisation and resilience under pressure.
• Experience of supporting development of others; line management desirable.
• Ability to mentor and coach colleagues.

Aufgaben

• Provide professional leadership within the Adult Early Help team.
• Offer supervision and oversight to colleagues to ensure timely, proportionate, preventative support.
• Act as a trusted adviser on adult social care legislation, safeguarding and risk-taking.
• Lead staff development, induction and training; support performance and wellbeing.
• Contribute to quality assurance activities: audits, practice reviews and improvements.
• Collaborate with partner organisations to promote prevention and wellbeing across Cambridgeshire.
