Job summary

Cambridgeshire County Council is seeking a permanent Senior Social Worker in the Prevention and Early Intervention Front Door Team within Adult Early Help. The post combines practice leadership, supervision and service development, and you will provide professional social work expertise within a multidisciplinary team.

You will sit on the service's leadership team, shape practice around strengths-based approaches to risk and safeguarding, work with Adult Social Care and partner organisations,

• Enhanced DBS disclosure required

Responsibilities

• Provide practice leadership within Adult Early Help
• Supervise and develop colleagues' skills and confidence
• Help shape practice and support service development as part of the leadership team
• Give professional social work expertise within a multidisciplinary team
• Promote strengths-based practice and sound decision-making
• Apply proportionate approaches to risk and safeguarding
• Work closely with Adult Social Care colleagues and partner organisations to achieve positive outcomes for people and communities
