Job summary

Hampshire County Council's Older Adults Team is seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker to join Havant.

You will work in a supportive, strengths‑based environment, managing a varied caseload with supervision and ongoing training, while collaborating with a skilled team dedicated to compassionate care and safeguarding. This role offers hybrid working, a market supplement of £3,000 per annum for Senior Social Workers, and a strong commitment to professional development.

Qualifications

• Qualified social worker with SWE registration.
• Experience in adult social care.
• Strong assessment and safeguarding knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals' needs and available support.
• Managing a complex caseload whilst providing supervision for Case Workers and Senior Case Workers and practice advice on complex cases.
• Triaging safeguarding referrals and make informed decisions.
• Building positive and professional relationships.
