Job summary

Hampshire County Council is seeking a qualified Social Worker to join the Older Adults team. You’ll be innovative, person-centred and committed to working in a strengths-based way.

You’ll enjoy a collaborative environment with regular opportunities for training and development, and you will support colleagues across the team while addressing complex caseloads. The role requires SWE registration and a Social Work qualification, with a focus on applying strengths-based practice and safeguarding

Qualifications

• Qualified social worker registered with Social Work England.
• Ability to apply a strengths-based approach in practice.
• Understanding of social work issues, legal frameworks and statutory duties.

Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals' needs and available support.
• Managing a complex caseload whilst providing supervision for Case Workers and Senior Case Workers and practice advice on complex cases.
• Triaging safeguarding referrals and make informed decisions.
• Building positive and professional relationships.
