Job summary

Hampshire County Council invites applications for a qualified Social Worker in the Older Adults Team, based in Basingstoke with hybrid working. You will conduct assessments, manage a complex caseload, provide supervision and apply a strengths-based approach to support independence and wellbeing.

The post is permanent, 22 hours per week, with a salary range £41,985–£49,565 pro-rata per annum (actual salary £24,964–£29,471 per annum, including £3,000 market supplement for Senior Social Workers).

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker registered with SWE.
• Experience with older adults and safeguarding.
• Strong values and strengths-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals' needs and available support.
• Manage a complex caseload while providing supervision and advice on difficult cases.
• Triage safeguarding referrals and make informed decisions.
• Build positive and professional relationships.
