Additionally, children in Norfolk receive ‘consistently strong services that impact positively on their and their families’ lives’ and that Norfolk is a child centred authority where the culture is that ‘children and care leavers come first’.

We are looking to recruit senior social worker for 12 months for one of our In Care teams, working with Looked After Children based in Norwich.

Norfolk’s social care model is a relationship-based, purposeful approach with social workers practicing in a trauma informed way, incorporating therapeutic approaches within their work with children, young people, their carers and families. Our approach to working with children in Care includes a specialist service with clinicians and practitioners working to support social care teams in meeting need and improving outcomes for young people Looked After in Norfolk.

It is an exciting time to join our Corporate Parenting Service as we embark on a new way of working that allows practitioners to focus on preventative work to support the emotional wellbeing and aspirations for every young person we work with.
