Norfolk County Council is seeking a Social Work Team Manager for the Corporate Parenting Service, based in Great Yarmouth. This secondment/temporary fixed-term role supports looked after children with strong leadership and people management skills.

You will lead a team of social workers, with responsibilities including recruitment, budget management, mentoring, and partnership work with local agencies to deliver high-quality care for children and families.

Qualifications

You will be experienced in working with looked after children, need experience in manging a team of social workers, an excellent team player and share our vision to provide the best possible outcomes for children and families alongside excellent people management skills, knowledge of recruitment, budget management, and mentoring skills.In Care is an exciting service in Norfolk which continues to develop and grow. You will be part of developing the working practices within the teams as well as working closely with partner agencies to develop a robust, positive offer to those children and young people.You will be joining a committed, supportive and energetic local management team, supporting a diverse staff group as well as managing a busy locality team focused on delivering a high-quality service.
