Shropshire Council is seeking a Senior Social Work Practitioner to join the Social Care Team on a 3-month contract with potential extension. Hybrid working with 37 hours per week and a rate of pay of 33.30 Umbrella.

Role involves completing Form K assessments, viability assessments, and SGO assessments, with supervision of kinship carers and coordination with multi-agency partners.

Formación

• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
• Experience in kinship/connected persons fostering (Form K).
• Experience with SGO assessments and permanence planning.
• Experience with viability assessments and supervising foster carers.
• Strong analytical and report-writing skills for court and panel.
• Ability to manage risk, safeguarding and complex family dynamics.

Responsabilidades

Hybrid Arrangements: 1 day required on sit every two weeks/ WFH/ Visit to families/ Office space if want to work in the office
