Job summary

Shropshire Council is seeking a Children's Senior Practitioner to join the Case Management Team on an initial 3-month contract. The role combines frontline casework with assessment and court-related tasks in a hybrid working arrangement, with one day per week in the office.

You will manage a varied caseload of CIN, CP, PLO cases, undertake home visits, and contribute to multi-agency safeguarding. The assignment offers a daily umbrella rate of £33.30 and the support of Remedy's

• Undertaking regular home visits to assess and monitor the welfare of children and families.
• Leading and participating in Core Group Meetings and multi-agency discussions.
• Preparing comprehensive court reports, statements, and assessments to support legal proceedings.
• Working collaboratively with partner agencies to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in line with statutory requirements and local procedures.

Rate: £33.30 per hour (Umbrella)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join the Case Management Team in the North East. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of children and families, ensuring high-quality assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

• Undertaking regular home visits to assess and monitor the welfare of children and families.

• Working collaboratively with partner agencies to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes.
