Job summary

Cambridgeshire County Council is seeking a Senior Social Worker to join the Family Help Team. The role involves assessment, safeguarding and court work, supporting children and families from initial assessment through to longer-term intervention where required.

The post covers Child in Need and Child Protection work, Section 47 enquiries, direct work with families, and collaboration with partner agencies. Strong statutory experience is essential.

Our client Cambridgeshire County Council is looking for a Family Help senior social worker to join their Family Help Team.

The Family Help Team works with children and families across a range of statutory social work interventions. The role will cover assessment, safeguarding and court work, supporting children and families from initial assessment through to longer-term intervention where required.

The role will include:

The team is looking for Senior Social Workers with strong statutory children's social care experience, ideally across assessment, safeguarding and court work. Experienced Social Workers will also be considered where they can demonstrate the relevant skills and experience.
