Job summary

Barratt Redrow plc is seeking a driven Construction Manager to lead site delivery for housing developments across the UK. You will manage the on-site construction, coordinate trades, ensure health and safety compliance, and drive quality to NHBC standards while controlling costs and maintaining customer care.

You will report to the Contracts Manager and work with multiple internal teams to achieve the build programme on time and to a high standard of finish.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering to a pre-agreed build programme.
• Ability to coordinate labour and materials to meet deadlines.
• Leadership and communication to ensure site safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction of developments from pre to post build works.
• Ensure site compliance with NHBC, Building Regulations and quality standards.
• Coordinate labour and trades to deliver the build programme.
• Monitor production costs and approve contractor payments.
• Lead site inspections with NHBC or Local Building Inspector.
• Deliver toolbox talks and site briefings.
• Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers and Sales for smooth delivery.
• Maintain high standard of site presentation and customer care.
• Support Contracts Manager to resource and direct the on-site team.
