Job summary

Barratt Redrow plc is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead construction on UK developments, ensuring health and safety, quality and timely delivery. You will coordinate trades, manage material levels, and maintain site presentation while keeping costs in check.

You will work under the Contracts Manager to deliver high-standard homes and support sales through proactive site management and customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering weekly targets on challenging sites.

Responsibilities

• Ensure site compliance with health and safety standards, NHBC standards, Building Regulations and quality standards.
• Coordinate labour and resources on site to deliver the build programme on larger developments.
• Manage material levels to minimize stock while meeting the programme.
• Ensure plots meet NHBC standards, Building Regulations and best practice.
• Conduct quality control inspections and rectify defects to avoid extra costs or delays.
• Monitor and control production costs and approve payments to contractors.
• Initiate and attend plot inspections with Local Building Inspector or NHBC.
• Deliver toolbox talks and on-site briefings to promote best practice.
• Proactively mitigate risk, build sequencing and drive quality on site.
• Liaise with internal departments, external suppliers and partners to meet the programme.
• Work with Sales to ensure smooth delivery of homes for customers.
• Maintain high standard of site presentation at all times.
• Deliver New Home Tours with Sales Advisor and customers.
• Ensure construction team is well-resourced with clear guidelines and support.
