Overview

Project Manager - Manufacturing Warehouse Construction (Kettering)

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a unique 24-week project in an operational manufacturing warehouse in Kettering (Northamptonshire), starting at the end of October.

This is not a standard build - the role involves managing the construction of a panelled composite 2-hour fire-rated wall, coordination of electrical and fire alarm works, and the installation of structural steelwork within a live production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage on-site activities, ensuring strict adherence to Health & Safety regulations.
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors and site teams.
• Attend and contribute to regular on-site progress meetings with the Production Manager.
• Ensure works are delivered on time, safely, and to specification.
• Provide clear communication with the client and maintain excellent working relationships.
• Produce progress reports and manage project documentation using Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven Project Management / Site Management experience within construction or fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of H&S compliance and working in live/operational environments.
• Confident, professional, and client-facing with excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work collaboratively with both site teams and client stakeholders.
