Job summary

Daniel Owen is seeking a Senior Site Manager to lead the delivery of a major industrial/conmercial construction project in Maldon, Essex. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring safety, on-time delivery and high quality throughout the programme.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will coordinate subcontractors and materials, drive the programme and maintain excellent health and safety standards. Immediate start and long-term pipeline offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on industrial/commercial projects.

A well-established contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead the delivery of a major industrial/commercial construction project in Maldon.This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Senior Site Manager looking to join a growing business with a strong pipeline of secured work.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing all site operations throughout the construction programme.
• Coordinating subcontractors, labour and materials.
• Driving programme and ensuring key milestones are achieved.
• Maintaining the highest standards of health & safety.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on industrial/commercial projects
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site management
• Excellent leadership and organisational skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Experience managing multiple trades and subcontractors
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications
• Stable employment history and a proactive approach to project delivery

Please note: This position is ideally suited to candidates from an industrial or commercial construction background. Applicants with predominantly residential experience are unlikely to be suitable.
