Job summary

Gleeson is seeking a diligent Site Manager to lead a high-performing on-site construction team in the Midlands region. You will drive the build programme, supervise labour-only groundworkers and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with NHBC standards and Gleeson quality.

You will collaborate with the Contracts Manager and Construction Director, prioritise safety, and deliver homes on time while maintaining budget discipline.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Manager on high-volume housing developments.
• Extensive knowledge of managing labour-only groundworkers/contractors.
• Full UK driving licence and strong programme knowledge.
• Strong commercial awareness and construction process knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage the build programme to stay on schedule and within budget.
• Lead site staff and subcontractors, ensuring safety and quality.
• Coordinate with NHBC, local authorities, and head office.
• Order materials to keep the programme on track.
• Conduct NHBC inspections as required and handover to customers.
