Job summary

Gleeson seeks an experienced Site Manager to lead a high-volume, on-site construction team in Apedale, delivering affordable new homes. You will manage subcontractors, coordinate with NHBC and local authorities, and ensure the project stays on schedule while upholding Gleeson Homes’ quality standards.

Applicants should hold SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, Fire Marshall and Scaffolding qualifications, possess a full UK driving licence, and be confident using Zutec and digital plot books.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Site Manager on high-volume new-build housing.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to manage subcontractors and labour-only crews.
• Extensive knowledge of NHBC, Building Regs and construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site team and subcontractors to deliver build programme on budget.
• Ensure final product meets Gleeson Homes standards and quality.
• Coordinate with NHBC, local authorities and head office.
• Order materials to maintain schedule and oversee NHBC inspections.
• Carry out handover inspections and address customer care defects promptly.
• Promote safety, quality and continuous improvement on site.
