Job summary

unt ypical is seeking a Senior Site Manager to join our Eastern Region, based at the Cringleford site, on a permanent contract. You will lead the construction of a development, ensuring health and safety compliance, delivering the build programme, and maintaining quality and customer care within budget.

Ideal candidates will have NVQ Level 6, NHBC knowledge, and a proven ability to coordinate trades, subcontractors and site teams, with strong leadership and communication.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to run and manage a fast-paced housing site.
• Experience delivering apartment blocks and traditional housing.
• Up-to-date NHBC regulations compliance.
• Strong Health & Safety knowledge with RAMS and site procedures.
• Experience managing subcontractors, groundworkers and trades.
• Ability to maintain build programme deadlines in a high-volume residential environment.
• Excellent communication and coordination with site teams and management.
• Hold a Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a Site Team during the pre-construction and construction phases.
• Ensure service delivery meets financial targets and budget.
• Ensure site health and safety compliance and NHBC standards.
• Rectify defects to avoid extra cost and delays.
• Monitor and control production costs; approve payments to contractors.
• Attend plot inspections with Local Building Inspector or NHBC.
• Coordinate labour and resources to deliver the build programme.
• Ensure on-site team is resourced and well-directed with clear responsibilities.
• Deliver high standard of site presentation at all times.
• Carry out New Home Demo with Sales Advisor for customer questions.
