Job summary

Miller Homes is seeking a Senior Site Manager to lead development activities in the West Midlands region, ideally around Streethay. You will act as the on-site Miller Homes representative, ensuring delivery to standards including SHE, programme, budgets and quality.

You will manage a site team, collaborate with Sales, Customer Services, Technical & Commercial, and oversee subcontractor payments and variations as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role with a housebuilder.
• Able to manage a site team including an Assistant Site Manager and/or Site Manager, General Operative and Telehandler.
• Drive and ambition to win internal and external awards (NHBC, SHE awards, Considerate Contractor).
• Hold relevant industry qualifications and accreditations.

Responsibilities

• Overarching accountability for monitoring of all site activities, direct labour and sub-contractors to ensure operations comply with SHE and company policies.
• Manage, develop and support staff to build a strong, customer-focused team.
• Collaborate with internal teams including Sales, Customer Services, Technical & Commercial.

We are looking to recruit a Senior Site Manager for our West Midlands region, ideally based around the Streethay area. As the senior Miller Homes representative on site, this role is responsible for ensuring to ensure that all aspects of the development are delivered to meet specified company standards, including Health and Safety, build programme, budgets and quality.

SENIOR SITE MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Overarching accountability for monitoring of all site activities, direct labour and sub-contractors to ensure that operations are carried out in strict accordance with the company s policies and procedures, in particular SHE.
• Manage, develop and support of staff from all disciplines to build a strong, customer focused and highly effective team ensuring members are fully trained and utilised
• Work collaboratively with internal teams, including Sales, Customer Services, Technical & Commercial
• Authorise, in liaison with the Commercial department, all additional payments and variations for sub-contractors

SENIOR SITE MANAGER REQUIREMENTS:
