Job summary

Miller Homes Ltd. seeks a Senior Site Manager for the West Midlands region, ideally near Telford.

You will be the on-site Miller Homes representative, ensuring delivery to company standards in health and safety, build programme, budgets and quality. Responsibilities include leading site activities, managing staff and subcontractors, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role with a Housebuilder or developer.
• Ability to lead a site team including coordinating on-site staff and subcontractors.
• Drive to achieve site awards and recognise quality and safety standards.
• Hold relevant industry qualifications and accreditations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all site activities and direct labour and subcontractors to meet company policies and SHE standards.
• Develop and support staff across disciplines to build a capable, customer-focused team.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Services, Technical & Commercial teams to ensure smooth delivery.
• Authorise payments and variations for subcontractors in liaison with Commercial.

We are looking to recruit a Senior Site Manager for our West Midlands region, ideally based around the Telford area. As the senior Miller Homes representative on site, this role is responsible for ensuring to ensure that all aspects of the development are delivered to meet specified company standards, including Health and Safety, build programme, budgets and quality.

Senior Site Manager Responsibilities

• Overarching accountability for monitoring of all site activities, direct labour and sub-contractors to ensure that operations are carried out in strict accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, in particular SHE.
• Manage, develop and support of staff from all disciplines to build a strong, customer focused and highly effective team ensuring members are fully trained and utilised
• Work collaboratively with internal teams, including Sales, Customer Services, Technical & Commercial
• Authorise, in liaison with the Commercial department, all additional payments and variations for sub-contractors

Senior Site Manager Requirements

• Experience working in a similar role with a Housebuilder
• Able to manage a site team which may include an Assistant Site Manager and/or Site Manager, General Operative and Telehandler
• Drive and ambition to win internal and external awards, e.g. NHBC, SHE awards, Considerate Contractor
• Hold relevant industry qualifications and accreditations
