Job summary

Miller Homes Limited in the West Midlands is seeking a Senior Site Manager to lead on-site operations around Streethay. You will be responsible for delivering development milestones in line with company standards, overseeing health and safety, the build programme, budgets and quality.

As the on-site senior representative, you will manage a site team, coordinate with Sales, Customer Services and Technical & Commercial colleagues, and authorise payments and variations with the Commercial team.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a similar role with a Housebuilder.
• Able to manage a site team which may include an Assistant Site Manager and/or Site Manager, General Operative and Telehandler.
• Drive and ambition to win internal and external awards, e.g. NHBC, SHE awards, Considerate Contractor.
• Hold relevant industry qualifications and accreditations.

Responsibilities

• Overarching accountability for monitoring of all site activities, direct labour and sub-contractors to ensure that operations are carried out in strict accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, in particular SHE.
• Manage, develop and support of staff from all disciplines to build a strong, customer focused and highly effective team ensuring members are fully trained and utilised.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams, including Sales, Customer Services, Technical & Commercial.
• Authorise, in liaison with the Commercial department, all additional payments and variations for sub-contractors.

We are looking to recruit a Senior Site Manager for our West Midlands region, ideally based around the Streethay area. As the senior Miller Homes representative on site, this role is responsible for ensuring to ensure that all aspects of the development are delivered to meet specified company standards, including Health and Safety, build programme, budgets and quality.
