Job summary

Miller Homes Limited in the West Midlands region seeks a Senior Site Manager to guide a development around the Telford area. You will act as the on‑site ambassador, ensuring delivery to company standards, including health and safety, build programme, budgets and quality.

You will lead the site team, coordinate with Sales, Customer Services, Technical & Commercial, and manage sub‑contractors and payments to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Housebuilder role.
• Ability to lead cross-functional site teams.
• Willingness to drive for industry awards (NHBC, SHE, CCS).
• Hold relevant industry qualifications and accreditations.

Responsibilities

• Overarching accountability for monitoring site activities, labour and subcontractors while adhering to SHE.
• Lead and develop a site team to deliver quality on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Services, Technical & Commercial teams.
• Authorise payments and variations in liaison with Commercial.

We are looking to recruit a Senior Site Manager for our West Midlands region, ideally based around the Telford area. As the senior Miller Homes representative on site, this role is responsible for ensuring to ensure that all aspects of the development are delivered to meet specified company standards, including Health and Safety, build programme, budgets and quality.

SENIOR SITE MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Overarching accountability for monitoring of all site activities, direct labour and sub-contractors to ensure that operations are carried out in strict accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, in particular SHE.
• Manage, develop and support of staff from all disciplines to build a strong, customer focused and highly effective team ensuring members are fully trained and utilised
• Work collaboratively with internal teams, including Sales, Customer Services, Technical & Commercial
• Authorise, in liaison with the Commercial department, all additional payments and variations for sub-contractors

SENIOR SITE MANAGER REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience working in a similar role with a Housebuilder
• Able to manage a site team which may include an Assistant Site Manager and/or Site Manager, General Operative and Telehandler
• Drive and ambition to win internal and external awards, e.g. NHBC, SHE awards, Considerate Contractor
• Hold relevant industry qualifications and accreditations
