The Contractor

The building contractor manages projects of various types, including education, local authority, commercial, private residential, health, sports and leisure, embassy, and religious buildings.

The contractor is known for its excellent reputation, delivering construction projects ranging from £1m to £15m, including refurbishment, new build, and Cut and Carve.

The Candidate

We seek a candidate with proven longevity as a Senior Site Manager across diverse sectors and projects up to £15m in value. The candidate should be capable of managing a 1-year scheme from start to finish, reporting to a Contracts Manager.

The ideal candidate must be client-facing and able to manage other management staff below. There will be a site manager reporting directly to this role.

• Ideally, hold a carpentry trade background and a higher education qualification in construction.
• Have a deep technical understanding of high-quality workmanship and building standards.
• Possess SMSTS / CSCS - Black / First Aid certifications.
• Be a committed team member.
