Job summary

MARCH is recruiting a Senior Site Representative to supervise electrical and mechanical works on major projects in Bury St Edmunds. You will coordinate site activities, lead subcontractors and deliver work safely, on time and to specification.

In this role you will mentor site teams, monitor progress against programmes and maintain site records, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance across all activities.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising electrical and/or mechanical works on site.
• Ability to read, interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications.
• Time-served apprenticeship in a mechanical or electrical discipline; SMSTS/SSSTS or IOSH qualifications preferred.
• Strong leadership, planning and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all on-site electrical and/or mechanical works, including installation, testing and commissioning.
• Monitor progress against plans, programmes and milestones.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and plant to keep works moving efficiently.
• Manage and oversee the activities of MARCH operatives, tradespeople and subcontractors.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to site teams.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations and safety practices.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and address issues promptly.
• Report progress, risks and EWNs to management; maintain accurate site records.
