Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Ltd. in Wareham, Dorset, seeks a General Foreman to lead a major water project on site. You will oversee daily operations, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards.

SMSTS, CSCS Supervisor/NVQ Level 3 and First Aid are required; a civil engineering background with Earthworks/Structures or Water/civils experience is essential. You will drive site safety, manage logistics and report progress to management.

Qualifications

• Solid background in civil engineering with Earthworks/Structures or Water/civils experience.
• Experience with Tier 1 contractors preferred.
• SMSTS, CSCS (Supervisor/NVQ Level 3) and First Aid are required.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills are key to success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all site operations, coordinate personnel and ensure compliance with safety, quality and programme requirements.
• Manage logistics including plant, labour and materials, and maintain accurate site records and diaries.
• Carry out site inspections, lead toolbox talks, and ensure temporary works and permits are in place.
