Job summary

Randstad Construction & Property seeks an experienced Site Engineer for a Wastewater Civils project in the Surrey region near Guildford. You will drive setting out, QA, and on-site coordination to support program delivery on a major infrastructure scheme.

The ideal candidate has Tier 1 civils experience, is autonomous with Total Station and GPS, and holds CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid at Work. Full UK driving licence required; AMP water framework/WWTP exposure is desirable. Contract outside IR35.

Qualifications

• Experience in Tier 1 civils environments with major projects.
• Autonomous setting out using Total Station and GPS.
• Good QA, ITPs, and drawing/specication reviews.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying using Total Station and GPS equipment.
• Support QA, review ITPs, and manage quality processes.
• Review drawings/specifications; raise RFIs/TQs with evidence.
• Plan works with the Agent and update 4-week look-ahead programs.
• Provide engineering support to subcontractors to ensure standards.
• Review permits to work and issue ITPs on site.
• Attend program reviews, progress updates, and design meetings.
