Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking an experienced Site Agent to lead major civil engineering packages on a long-term water framework in Reigate. You will report to the Project Manager, coordinating site teams, programming, and commercial reporting on multi-disciplinary works.

The role requires Tier 1 civil experience, SMSTS/TWC qualifications, and a valid UK driving licence. Contract role with 12–18 months duration, paid LTD subject to IR35 assessment.

Qualifications

• Direct experience in Tier 1 civil engineering as Site Agent or Sub Agent.
• Relevant safety certifications and a valid UK driving licence.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

Responsibilities

• Package delivery and autonomy: manage large civil packages from inception to handover.
• Coordinate with parallel disciplines and trades to avoid interface delays.
• Plan on-site works and produce 4-week lookahead programmes; feed data into Primavera P6.
• Maintain commercial awareness and track variations; raise EWNs under contract.
• Review drawings, raise RFIs/TQs, and develop Safe Systems of Work (RAMS/ITPs/permits).
• Act as Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) on-site and ensure HSEQ compliance.
