Job summary

Highfield Professional Solutions Ltd are recruiting for an experienced Senior Site Engineer for a major wastewater treatment works project in Warwickshire. The role requires setting out and site supervision on large civil works, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality records, and RAMS.

The position offers a long-term contract, with a daily rate of £375-£425 Outside IR35 and an ASAP start. The project involves reinforced concrete, drainage, pipelines, and coordination of subcontractors on site.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer or Senior Site Engineer on major civil engineering projects.
• Water or wastewater experience strongly preferred.
• Strong setting out experience using Robotic Total Stations and GPS.
• Competent with CAD and production of as-built information.
• Experience with reinforced concrete, deep drainage, pipelines and associated civils.
• Valid CSCS
• SMSTS or SSSTS preferred
• TWC/TWS training advantageous
• Able to commit to 5 days per week on site in Warwickshire.

• Establishing and maintaining site control
• Managing and supporting junior Site Engineers
• Supervising subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered to drawings and specifications
• Completing and maintaining ITPs, quality records and as-built information
• Raising RFIs and identifying potential design issues
• Reviewing and implementing RAMS
• Supporting temporary works activities including excavations, shoring and formwork
• Ensuring high standards of health, safety and quality across the site

Rate: £375-£425 per day

Start: ASAP
Duration: Until July 2027 and beyond
Hours: 5 days on site, 07:30-17:30

We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join a major wastewater treatment works project in Warwickshire, working with a leading Tier 1 contractor.

This is a long-term contract opportunity for an experienced engineer with a strong civils background, ideally gained within the water or wastewater sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting out for reinforced concrete structures, drainage, earthworks and pipelines

• Managing and supporting junior Site Engineers
