Job summary

JMG Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee a major project in London. You will manage day-to-day construction activities, coordinate with principal and subcontractors, and deliver across civils, earthworks, drainage, utilities and highways.

The role requires strong CDM 2015, health and safety, and quality oversight, plus reporting to senior stakeholders. A senior site-based background (10+ years) with SMSTS, NEBOSH Construction, and a valid CSCS/Manager card is

Qualifications

• 10+ years UK construction management experience, including 5+ years in a senior site-based role.
• Strong civils/infrastructure background.
• Black CSCS / equivalent Manager-level card.
• Current SMSTS.
• NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent.
• Strong working knowledge of CDM 2015.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day construction activities and site delivery.
• Oversee Principal and subcontractors across multiple work packages.
• Manage civils, earthworks, drainage, utilities, highways and external works.
• Ensure compliance with CDM 2015, health & safety and quality requirements.
• Review programmes, milestones, risks and progress.
• Coordinate with design teams, stakeholders and statutory authorities.
• Provide clear progress and risk reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Take ownership of delivery, resolving issues proactively and independently.
