Job summary

Randstad CPE are seeking a Site Agent to lead a major highways scheme in Greater Manchester. You will manage the site team of engineers and subcontractors, ensuring safe, compliant delivery on time and within budget.

The role requires solid civils experience, NEC4 knowledge, and formal Civil Engineering qualifications. A competitive package includes a generous car allowance and pension, with extensive leave and benefits.

Qualifications

• SMSTS certification.
• CSCS Black Manager card.
• First Aid at Work.
• HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Membership at an engineering institution.
• Working knowledge of NEC4 contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations on a flagship highways project in Greater Manchester.
• Run and manage site ground teams including section engineers, supervisors and subcontractors.
• Manage high‑value civils packages (structures, earthworks, drainage, slip-road realignments).
• Liaise with the client and drive delivery under NEC4 and budget.
