Job summary

Wilde Consulting Engineers in Greater Manchester is seeking an experienced NEC4 ECC Supervisor to oversee highways and transportation infrastructure schemes across the region.

The role is a 40-hour week contract from November 2026 with an expected duration of 18 months plus. NEC contracts knowledge, site supervision, and strong stakeholder management are essential, along with a valid CSCS/NEBOSH qualification and a full driving licence.

Qualifications

• Essential experience in highways and transportation infrastructure.
• Experience delivering schemes in Greater Manchester is preferred.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts and contract administration is required.

Responsibilities

• Undertake NEC4 ECC Supervisor duties in accordance with the contract.
• Carry out site inspections and supervise contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Monitor progress, costs and valuations across multiple projects.
• Liaise with project managers, contractors, consultants and other stakeholders.
• Attend site meetings and produce progress reports and site records.
• Assist with compensation events, contract changes and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with CDM, health and safety and environmental requirements.
