Job summary

RG Setsquare is seeking an experienced Highways Site Agent to lead delivery on major highways and public realm projects. You will mobilise teams, coordinate subcontractors, manage safety and drive projects from planning through handover.

The role requires NEC4 contract experience, strong leadership and excellent stakeholder management in live environments. A proactive, cost-conscious approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering highways and civil engineering projects.
• Experience with NEC4 forms of contract and project governance.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to plan, programme, forecast costs and manage resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of highways and public realm works safely, on programme, within budget and to quality.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors and suppliers, coordinating daily activities and resolving issues.
• Develop construction programmes and phased delivery plans to minimise public disruption.
• Coordinate traffic management, permits and temporary works.
• Manage NEC4 processes including early warnings and compensation events.
• Maintain accurate records and monitor project profitability with QS/PMs.
