Job summary

Protection Group International (PGI) is hiring a Senior SharePoint Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable Microsoft 365 information management solutions. You will lead migrations, establish governance, and enforce security/compliance across the enterprise, partnering with IT and stakeholders to deliver robust SharePoint and Teams infrastructure.

The role requires 7+ years in SharePoint Online engineering, deep architecture expertise, and hands-on experience with Purview, Entra ID, Power

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Microsoft SharePoint Online engineering with large migrations.
• Expertise in governance, information architecture and taxonomy.
• Strong knowledge of security, privacy, and compliance controls.
• Hands-on with Entra ID, Purview, Power Platform and automation tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable Microsoft 365 information management solutions.
• Lead modern SharePoint information architecture and hub site design.
• Plan end-to-end migrations from on-prem files to SharePoint Online.
• Redesign permissions using Entra ID groups and governance controls.
• Implement Purview, DLP, retention and audit capabilities.
• Define data storage standards and lifecycle management.
• Develop templates for Teams and SharePoint and improve metadata search.
• Provide documentation, training, and ongoing administration.
