Job summary

Single Homeless Project in Lewisham seeks a Services Manager to lead the Lewisham Vulnerable Adults Accommodation Service, ensuring safe, well‑managed housing and consistent, person‑centred support.

You will supervise the Team Manager and frontline staff, maintain service quality and safeguarding, oversee housing management and resources, and build strong partnerships with Lewisham Council and partner agencies to enable move-on and recovery for clients.

Qualifications

• Significant experience of delivering or managing high‑quality accommodation or support services for adults experiencing homelessness and multiple disadvantage.
• Experience of managing and developing managers or staff teams, including supervision, reflective practice and performance management.
• Strong knowledge of person‑led, strengths-based and psychologically informed approaches to support.
• Good working knowledge of safeguarding, risk management and support planning within services for vulnerable adults.
• Experience of housing and property management within an accommodation‑based service, including maintaining safe standards and tenancy sustainability.
• Experience of working with commissioners, statutory services, referral partners and other agencies to coordinate support and improve outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery and development of the Lewisham Vulnerable Adults Accommodation Service, ensuring safety, responsiveness and contractual compliance.
• Supervise the Team Manager and staff to maintain high standards of practice and client-centred support.
• Ensure services are psychologically informed and strengths-based, with clients’ goals central to assessment and planning.
• Maintain oversight of service quality, safeguarding and housing management, and drive improvements.
• Foster partnerships with Lewisham Council, referral partners and statutory services to enable timely access, move-on and recovery.
