The Senior Service Designer will lead end-to-end service design projects, from framing problems and defining opportunities to delivering blueprints and implementation recommendations.

Qualifications

• Strong Service Design skills including blueprinting and journey mapping.
• Experience applying Design Thinking to complex multi-stakeholder challenges.
• Ability to create and iterate prototypes with users and stakeholders.
• Experience with user researchers, interviews, contextual inquiry, usability testing.
• Facilitation of workshops and co-creation sessions in remote/hybrid settings.
• Excellent communication to present ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary teams with product, tech and business stakeholders.
• Capable of independent remote work, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Interest in AI tooling to augment design practices.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Service Design, Interaction Design, UX, Innovation, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Senior/lead design experience, ideally in consultancy/public sector/complex services.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct user research and workshops with clients and stakeholders.
• Create journey maps, service blueprints, and prototypes to explore and validate solutions.
• Synthesize insights into actionable concepts for implementation.
• Mentor and support other designers and contribute to methodologies.
• Guide organizations in adopting design thinking in projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across product, technology and business.
• Work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple projects.
