Job summary

IBM FutureNow in the UK is seeking a Senior Service Designer to lead the end-to-end design of public sector services. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to translate user needs, policy intent and technology constraints into coherent service ecosystems.

You’ll apply GDS principles, enable accessibility, and mentor fellow designers while collaborating with senior stakeholders to deliver citizen-centred outcomes.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Senior Service Designer in complex public-sector contexts.
• Delivery of end-to-end service design across Discovery to Live.
• Strong knowledge of GDS principles and GOV.UK Service Standard.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end service design across Discovery, Alpha, Beta and Live.
• Design and improve complex, user-centred services using research and data.
• Create journeys, blueprints and service maps to enhance services.
