Southwark Council is recruiting a Senior Service Design Lead to drive service design across major transformation programmes. You will work with residents, service teams and stakeholders to shape future service models and operating processes with evidence-based designs.

You will lead workshops, translate research into practical improvements, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver tangible outcomes for residents and services.

Qualifikationen

• Significant experience leading service design within complex organisations.
• Strong track record redesigning services to improve outcomes and value for money.
• Expertise across the service design lifecycle: discovery, journey mapping, blueprinting, prototyping and implementation.
• Excellent facilitation, stakeholder engagement and workshop delivery skills.
• Experience in multidisciplinary change teams alongside programme managers, delivery leads, business analysts and digital specialists.

Aufgaben

• Lead service design activity across major transformation projects within the council.
• Work with residents, service teams and stakeholders to understand needs and opportunities.
• Develop future service models, user journeys, service blueprints and operating processes.
• Facilitate workshops, discovery activities and co-design sessions with stakeholders.
• Use research, data and insight to inform design decisions and evidence-based solutions.
• Collaborate with Programme Leads, Delivery Leads, BAs and teams to ensure practical, deliverable solutions.
• Support services to implement redesigned processes and new ways of working.
• Champion inclusive, user-centred design and build design capability across the council.
