Job summary

Veolia ES (UK) in Portsmouth is seeking a Senior Service Coordinator to oversee day-to-day service delivery, allocate routes and liaise with customers and drivers. You will monitor progress, address issues on the route and ensure timely debriefs and reporting.

This is a full-time on-site role with a structured 40-hour week, plus Saturday rota work and bank holidays at additional pay. The role offers a salary of up to £38,000 per annum, with a performance bonus and Veolia benefits, including

Qualifications

• Good communication with people at all levels including drivers, front-line staff and customers.
• Able to organise a busy workload and operate at a fast pace.
• UK driving licence is essential.
• Experience in waste/transport/logistics environments is preferred.
• Understanding transport compliance and Working Time Directive (WTD) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of service delivery including dynamic allocation of work to vehicles/routes.
• Communicate with customers and stakeholders, provide status updates and maintain driver contact.
• Complete debriefs with front-line staff and report necessary actions or updates.
