Job summary

PHL Group is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead custody healthcare services from its Cleveland operation. You will own contract delivery, lead key clinical teams, and drive operational excellence across sites to exceed contractual obligations.

The role focuses on safe, high-quality care, KPI achievement, and strong financial performance while shaping a culture that motivates staff and aligns with strategic aims.

Qualifications

• Senior level experience in a complex organisation.
• Strategic acumen.
• Demonstrable contract, operational, and stakeholder management experience.
• Ability to inspire, lead, develop, and motivate others, building trust and delivery confidence.
• Experience running a business unit with £1m+ turnover.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance.
• Experience working across multiple sites, with requirement for full driving licence and access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Provide contract management and operational leadership for custody healthcare services.
• Lead the Lead FME, Lead HCP, and wider clinical team.
• Ensure the operational management function consistently exceeds contractual obligations.
• Deliver safe and effective care and achieve KPI targets.
• Maintain strong financial performance.
• Create and sustain an organisational culture that enables staff to achieve outcomes.
