Job summary

Southern Housing in Fleet, United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Senior Service Charge Analyst to join the Service Charge & Specialist Leasehold Services team. You will work with complex financial information, investigate issues and drive continuous improvement to ensure service charges are accurate, compliant and auditable.

You will lead reconciliations, support budgeting and forecasting, analyse large datasets across multiple systems and provide technical guidance on service charge

Qualifications

• Experience working within service charges or housing finance is preferred.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage complex workloads and work independently while collaborating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and validate service charge estimates and actual accounts.
• Lead complex reconciliations, investigations and cost allocation reviews.
• Ensure service charge calculations are accurate, compliant and fully auditable.
• Review recoverability of costs in accordance with lease agreements.
• Identify risks and opportunities for improvement and support year-end processes.
• Provide technical guidance on service charge legislation and best practice.
• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, anomalies and data quality issues.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities and improve forecasting accuracy.
